COVID-19 Rapid Result Testing Opportunity Expansion
Wednesday, December 23, 2020

The State of North Dakota has in its inventory approximately 500,000 rapid response (15 minutes) COVID-19 testes and intends to offer the tests, training and technical assistance on implementing a testing regime to the larger businesses in the state, all at no cost. Under the program model, an eligible company would implement voluntary rapid testing for its employees on at least a weekly basis, allowing those testing negative to return to work and asymptomatic COVID-positive individuals to be removed from the workplace quickly. The secondary stage of this rapid result testing program has expanded its focus to companies with 40 employees or more. However, the program may be expanded further to small businesses if inventory allows.
