The North Dakota Petroleum Council is partnering with the University of Mary and Envision Partners to announce the creation of a Leadership & Management Certification Program.
The Leadership and Management certification program, a collaborative effort between Envision and the University of Mary, provides rising and current leaders with an outcome-driven professional development experience. The 9 courses, complemented by executive coaching sessions, can be taken in any order to fit busy schedules with a recommended (though not required) completion time of two years. The University of Mary will award participants with a Leadership and Management Plaque upon successful completion of all nine courses.
Class One – Environmental, Social & Governance Training
The world-altering events of 2020, a global pandemic and growing movement for racial equality have brought renewed immediacy to conversations around environmental, social and governance issues.
The ESG course will present ESG best practices to educate on evolving ESG criteria and reporting. Companies within the energy industry are aware of society’s expectations and the many opportunities and challenges that the future holds. The program demonstrates the need for robust reporting and communication going forward. The program will share practical guidelines on why, how, and what to report and thorough guidance on developing a reporting strategy and framework.
The ESG course will be delivered through distance learning in a ZOOM format. There will be four half day sessions:

Wednesday, May 26, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. CDT
Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. CDT
Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. CDT
Cost for this valuable class is a NDPC rate of $2,100 (Regular Envision price is $3,450.) (If you sign up for the Leadership and Management Certification Program, you can save an additional $300 per course, plus receive one-on-one coaching).
