Monthly Meeting Recap - October 2021
Wednesday, October 20, 2021

The Williston Basin Chapter of API met on October 5th for our General Monthly Meeting.

After we read and approved the minutes and financials, we read the second reading of the bylaws. Then we read the second reading of the $5,000 donation request for Feed My Starving Children, and while discussing it we passed the hat around the room and raised enough money to provide an additional 3,042 meals!!

We discussed the WSC Oil Monument Celebration that will be held on 10/11/21 at 4PM.  This is to highlight the accomplishments by the Williston Basin Chapter of API to the Williston State College Foundation.  Busy Bee’s Hot Oil Service will be on hand to cook food for those that attend the dedication. We are selling miniatures of the Oil statue 8” for $3,000 and 12” for $4,000. The statues are made of Brass and come with a ¾” piece of Granite and are numbered. Our goal is to sell 10 of each and help raise money for WSC to landscape two of the new statues. If anyone has any questions please contact Ken Callahan at Ken.callahan@mdu.com or 701-770-5030.
