Protect North Dakota's Constitution:

Protect ND’s Constitution (PNDC) is an initiated constitutional measure to change the initiated constitutional measure process. North Dakota’s Constitution has faced an initiated constitutional measure every election cycle for the past decade. PNDC believes this is because the process is too easy and has resulted in questionable initiatives and outside interests attacking the constitution. It only takes a simple majority of 50% +1 to modify the constitution. Comparatively, changing the US Constitution is a rigorous process requiring 2/3 majority of congress and ratification by the States and is not amended often. The PNDC measure proposes that a constitutional measure address a single issue and achieve 60% approval to pass.
