Information about road restrictions in counties that participate in WDEA's LoadPass Permits system is now available in an interactive and searchable map. 

Users can click on any area of the map to get a quick rundown of restrictions in that area. LoadPass also features a detailed county-by-county notification list of load restrictions.

Seasonal load restriction information for state roads is available by calling 511 or online at ND Roads.

Depending on weather conditions, the restrictions typically remain in effect until roadbeds have stabilized enough to carry normal traffic, generally in mid-to-late-May.

Motorists are encouraged to check state and county load restriction information daily as restrictions may change quickly due to weather.
