2020 Annual Golf Tournament
The 40th Annual Williston API Golf Tournament was another huge success! First and foremost we would like to thank our sponsors, teams that played, and our members! We decided to use only one golf course, Eagle Ridge in Williston, and it was in great shape and the weather was perfect for the morning flight. However, the afternoon flight the temps hit high nineties.
We had 53 six-man teams participate with only two golfers not showing up. This is a first, normally there are a handful up to a few teams who cancel to the last minute. The practice round went really well and the social was incredible. There were street tacos, burgers, brats, pulled pork, stuffed sausage, Philly cheesesteaks, and of course plenty of water and drinks. The golf tournament went well with Lochend Energy winning the top prize with a respectful -17 for a 55! Nice work!
As it is with every event now going forward when you get together in large gatherings there’s a chance someone will have COVID-19 and in Williston we had a few more new cases. If you feel sick or any of the symptoms please see a doctor and get tested. Follow the CDC guidelines, wear a mask, and if you show any symptoms please isolate and get tested.
