Come celebrate the oil and gas industry in the Williston Basin at the Eighth Annual Williston Petroleum Banquet. This premier event honors the achievements of individuals and companies who have contributed to the great success of the oil and gas industry in the area and provides an opportunity to gather and celebrate our industry. This banquet brings members of the energy industry together to enjoy fine dining, networking and entertainment. The evening includes a program featuring award presentations followed by a keynote address from Patrick Bertagnolli.
Patrick Bertagnolli, VP of Human Resources, MBI Energy Services is a Montana native and graduate of Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a degree in Business Administration; and he holds senior level certification with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to coming to western North Dakota in 2011 to work in the energy sector, Pat spent an accomplished 22 years with UPS—serving in multiple capacities, most notably as a multi-state Operations Manager, and Workforce Planning and Employee Relations Manager. Comprehensive and creative in his approach to HR, Pat is a strong advocate for North Dakota and the opportunities available to people of all ages. He believes that North Dakota is at its best when people and organizations accentuate “North Dakota Nice” and focus on mentoring and giving back--which in turn, creates a great experience for our workforce and their families; and a cultural dynamic that is the most effective way to draw new workers to our state. Pat is currently serving his second term as a member of the North Dakota Workforce Development Council and is a member of the Governor’s Complete Count Task Force (Census 2020). On the local level, Pat serves on the Board of Directors for the Watford City Chamber of Commerce and is part of the McKenzie County Skills Initiative Petroleum Advisory Group. Pat and his wife Eva, happily call Watford City home.
